The only optional add is a high-index lens upgrade if you want thinner, lighter lenses for a stronger prescription, and that is shown clearly before you check out.

For prescription eyeglasses, yes. You will need a valid prescription from your eye doctor. You can type in the values or upload a photo at checkout. For non-prescription lenses, no prescription is needed.
