What Makes a ValenRow
Three pillars define every frame we make. None of them are shortcuts.

Time
A single pair of frames can spend several days in a series of tumbling drums filled with fine pumice stones. The longer the tumble, the softer the frame to the touch.
So smooth they disappear on your face.

Finishing
After tumbling, every frame is hand-polished on felt wheels, fit with premium precision hinges, and inspected twice before it ships. The step most manufacturers skip is the step we keep.

The Process

Step 01
Material Inspection & Cutting
Acetate sheets inspected, approved, and precision-cut to frame specs. CNC tolerances verified before anything moves forward.
Step 02 · Several Days
Tumbling & Finishing
Multiple stages in progressive-grit pumice drums. Edges rounded. Surfaces refined. Sheen developed slowly. No shortcuts.
Step 03
Hand Polish & Hinge Assembly
Felt-wheel polishing to final luster. Premium precision hinges installed. Temple fit adjusted by hand.
Step 04
Double Inspection
Two independent quality checks: structural integrity and frame trace verification. Only frames that pass both go forward.
Step 05
Lens Fitting & Dispatch
Your prescription lenses cut and mounted using your monocular PD. Final alignment check. Packaged and shipped.
